The tugboat "Motorist Kazakovtsev" (project TSK.395M) was launched at the Cherepovets Shipbuilding Plant. This was reported by the press service of the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK).
The TSK-395M project envisages the construction of 5 tugboats for GTLK. The first 2 vessels were delivered in 2024, the remaining 2 are planned to be accepted in 2025.
Thanks to its power of 1300 hp, the "Motorist Kazakovtsev" can tow more than 8 barges simultaneously. The tug is equipped with a lifting wheelhouse to improve visibility when piloting long convoys.
Tugboats and barges will operate as part of convoys on the Cherepovets-Astrakhan-Cherepovets routes, which will speed up cargo delivery and reduce logistics costs.
