A batch of Russian Su-30SM2 fighters arrived at one of the airfields of the Air Force (Air Force) and Air Defense Forces (Air Defense) of Belarus. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic.
The aircraft were received in accordance with the plan for the construction and development of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus and military-technical development with the Russian Federation.

Today, the latest, highly maneuverable, multi-functional Su-30SM2 fighters have arrived to us. There are many innovations in this aviation technology. First of all, the capabilities for combat use have significantly increased, both for air, ground, and sea targets. The characteristics have been significantly improved, thanks to the integration of modern aviation weapons and the modernization of the onboard radar station. Jamming immunity and electronic warfare capabilities have been improved.
Rostec stated that the radar characteristics of the Su-30SM2 have significantly changed. Since there are long-range weapons, long-range detection and tracking are needed, as well as all the necessary modes that ensure the operation of these weapons.
The detection range has almost doubled compared to the Su-30SM, both for ground targets, air targets, and sea targets.
