According to him, the peculiarities of modern warfare dictate new threats and new means of combating them. And one of the main threats on the battlefield today are mini-drones carrying a warhead or ammunition.

Rostec specialists have developed a line of effective anti-drone cartridges, the characteristics of which have been confirmed when firing at real targets. Ammunition has fewer requirements for the shooter's accuracy, while being extremely effective. For example, Mavic literally shatters into fragments from being hit by the anti-drone "Igla".

"Igla" contains a high-hardness shot weighing 42 grams based on an alloy that is 1.5 times denser than lead. The cartridge provides sequential penetration of two 1 mm thick aluminum sheets at a distance of up to 100 m.

The "Igla" modification with a tracer is equipped with a red light element that visualizes the flight of the shot at a distance of 20 to 120 meters, which makes it possible to correct subsequent shots.

Earlier www1.ru reported that "Kalashnikov" presented the latest shortened AK-12K and AK-12SK assault rifles for the first time.
