The Uralvagonzavod concern (UVZ, part of Rostec) has for the first time presented abroad the latest remotely controlled combat module "Hunter", developed by NPO Elektromashina. The weapon was shown at the MILEX 2025 international exhibition of weapons and military equipment in Minsk on a scale of 1:5.
The installation is a platform that can be used for firing and observation from a protected location. The complex consists of a 12.7 mm 6P49 Kord machine gun, observation, stabilization, aiming and weapon control devices. The total ammunition load of the module is 250 rounds. Firing and misfire elimination are carried out remotely - without risk to the soldier.
The module is stabilized in two planes, it is possible to fire on the move at speeds up to 20-30 km/h, successfully hitting moving targets at a distance of up to 1 km. A rangefinder is integrated into the module's sight, all corrections are automatically entered into the machine gun. Aiming is carried out through two channels - television and thermal imaging.
"Hunter" is capable of hitting a target with the first shot, UVZ noted.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Kalashnikov first introduced the latest shortened AK-12K and AK-12SK assault rifles.
