The modernization of the Russian fifth-generation fighter Su-57 has significantly increased its combat potential. The fighter received an updated airframe and a number of other improvements.
The airframe provided the aircraft with greater aerodynamic lift and improved stability at supersonic speeds.
Presumably, the adjustments to the airframe design are due to the desire for a more rational use of the significantly increased flight capabilities, which should be provided by new engines of the AL-51F type.
Also, the modernized Su-57 received an improved radar station (RWS) with an active phased array antenna, which will improve the pilot's situational awareness.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that T-90M "Proryv" tanks will be hidden from drones under "Nakidka": the probability of detection will be reduced by 30%.
