The modernization of the Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighter jet has significantly increased its combat potential. The fighter jet received an updated airframe and a number of other improvements.
The airframe provided the aircraft with greater aerodynamic lift and improved stability at supersonic speeds.
Presumably, the adjustments to the airframe design are due to the desire for a more rational use of the significantly increased flight capabilities, which should be provided by new AL-51F type engines.
The modernized Su-57 also received an improved radar station (RLS) with an active phased antenna array, which will improve the pilot's situational awareness.
Earlier www1.ru reported that T-90M "Proryv" tanks will be hidden from drones under "Nakidka": the probability of detection will be reduced by 30%.
