Specialists from the "REO" company have completed testing of the "Tranit" system on four electric vessels of the "Ecobus" project. These vessels are intended for river transportation in Moscow.
During commissioning, diagnostics and adjustment of the propulsion electric motor control system, as well as the power supply system of ship devices, were carried out. In addition, charging (slow charging from the shore network) and discharging modes were tested.
According to experts from "REO", the system uses bidirectional converters that allow energy to be returned during braking of the propulsion electric motor. These converters are also responsible for the slow charging of battery systems.
Earlier, GTLK accepted two new passenger electric vessels of project 401001. The "Ecobuses" will be used for regular river transportation in Moscow.
