GTLK has accepted two new passenger electric vessels of project 401001 at the Emperium shipyard in the Leningrad region. The "Ecobuses" will be used for regular river transportation in Moscow. Electric vessels are economical and environmentally friendly.
In 2024, a contract was signed for the supply of eight "Ecobuses" as part of the investment project of the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) with the involvement of the National Welfare Fund (NWF) to update Russia's water transport.
"Khodynka" and "Chechera" became the fifth and sixth vessels delivered under this contract. The first four "Ecobuses" were transferred to GTLK for leasing last week.
