The multipurpose AP-55 helicopter caused a stir among visitors at the HeliRussia international exhibition in Moscow. It was shown at the stand of JSC "Concern Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant" (JSC "Concern KEMZ").
The developers have already received a certificate of airworthiness for the AP-55. The helicopter meets safety requirements. It is planned to establish a complete assembly of the rotorcraft at "Concern KEMZ", with the exception of the engine.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Dagestan believes that the characteristics of the AP-55 make it competitive in the global market. It is possible that these helicopters will be assembled in the republic, including for export.
