Powerful and safe "Sever" series airboats have been prepared for the season in Chukotka, and they will operate on the Anadyr Estuary in the spring. This was announced by the head of the Road Maintenance Department of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Eduard Elvin.
To ensure the transport accessibility of the city of Anadyr, a total of 5 "Sever-1712" airboats are involved. Specialists have reinforced their hulls and installed lighting equipment.
The airboats will make their first trip on May 19. The fare across the Anadyr Estuary is 500 rubles. The water transport for transportation was purchased on the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
