The weather conditions allow for the air part of the Victory Parade on May 9 in Moscow. This was announced by Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Fobos weather center.
According to him, during the air part of the Military Parade in Moscow, cloud cover of 3-6 points is expected, increasing to 6-9 points of the middle layer and stratocumulus height of 600-1000 meters. The upper limit is 1.5-2 km, without precipitation. Dangerous weather phenomena are not predicted.
Thus, over the Russian capital, you can see the flight of various combat aircraft and helicopters that traditionally participate in the parade. The aviation group includes Su-30SM, MiG-29SMT, Su-25BM fighters, as well as the Russian Knights aerobatic team on Su-30SM and Swifts on MiG-29. In addition, we are waiting for Su-57 fighters over Red Square.
Also expected are Tu-160 and Tu-95MS strategic missile carriers, Il-78 tankers, Il-76 military transport aircraft, Mi-28 and Mi-35 attack helicopters. In the parade formation, helicopters will pass at an altitude of 150 m at a speed of 200 km/h, aircraft - 450 m, speed 500 km/h.
