At the Victory Parade in Tula, a prototype of a promising multi-purpose, newest, highly mobile tactical counter-battery radar complex on the "Tigr-M" chassis will be presented for public viewing.
The system is represented by a complex with an active phased array radar (APAR) X-band radar from NPO "Strela". Thanks to it, the "Tigr-M" will have a counter-battery mode of operation, detecting firing positions of 155-mm artillery at a distance of up to 20 km and 120-mm mortars up to 15 km.
The complex will also be able to detect small-sized enemy kamikaze UAVs with an effective reflecting surface of 0.01 - 0.02 sq. m at a distance of up to 7 km, providing target designation to the crews of man-portable air defense systems and the crews of mobile anti-aircraft artillery systems.
Earlier www1.ru reported that "Kalashnikov showed a model of the newest KUB-2-E strike drone at the exhibition."
