Submarine "Magadan" with "Caliber" missiles returned to harbor after three thousand miles underwater

Submarine of project 636.3 has been performing tasks at sea since December 2024

The diesel-electric submarine "Magadan" of project 636.3 code "Varshavyanka" of the Pacific Fleet (TOF) after a long performance of tasks at sea returned to its base in Vladivostok.

The submarine's crew left the base in December 2024. The ship performed tasks at sea, replenishing supplies at the fleet's bases. The total duration of being submerged was more than three thousand nautical miles.

"Magadan" is the third diesel-electric submarine of project 636.3, capable of carrying "Caliber" cruise missiles. Submarines of this project are distinguished by an optimal combination of target detection range and acoustic stealth, powerful missile and torpedo armament.

The submarine "Magadan" was accepted into the Pacific Fleet in October 2021 in St. Petersburg.
