The company "Laboratory of the Future" has completed field tests of its new Dragonfly 3.0 unmanned aerial vehicle on a section of the railway contact network.
During the testing process, the main diagnostic modes were checked. Engineers collected data to analyze the functionality of the system. The tests helped to understand how to improve new versions of the drone.
The Dragonfly complexes are designed for diagnostics and repair of power lines without the need to de-energize. The Dragonfly 3.0 drone has become part of an extensive project to digitalize the control of railway infrastructure.
The tests emphasize the importance of introducing modern technologies in the field of railway transport. The use of drones improves the safety and efficiency of work, as well as reduces the time for diagnostics and repair. In the future, "Laboratory of the Future" plans to continue developing and improving its drones.
