Rostec Creates "Brain" for Oil Industry: "Tsifroil" System Being Implemented for Oil Accounting

The complex integrates all measuring equipment and collects data from production to shipment

The "Rosel" holding (part of Rostec) has developed the "Tsifroil" oil and petroleum product flow computer. The complex serves as a central accounting hub, integrating all measuring equipment and continuously collecting data – from the field to the oil depot.

The system is used at all stages: from the extraction of crude oil and gas condensate to the accounting of gasoline, diesel fuel, and fuel oil at processing plants and tank farms. On main pipelines, "Tsifroil" becomes a key element of metering stations.

Rostec emphasized that the economic effect of the implementation is immediately apparent: financial losses, fines, and claims from counterparties are reduced, manual labor and downtime are reduced. The main advantage of the system is the ability to make management decisions based on accurate, rather than averaged, data, the company believes.
