This was reported by the Department for Organizing the Fight Against Illegal Use of Information and Communication Technologies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

In addition, the scammers demand a "customs fee" for "legalizing the goods." According to the department, this is done in order to illegally obtain money from teenagers and their parents.

Earlier it became known that scammers can offer to install applications that contain software designed to steal personal data under various pretexts. For example, scammers may promise high pay for performing simple tasks, such as liking posts on social networks. If the user agrees and installs the application, malware enters their device.
