The "Bars-Sarmat" Special Purpose Center for Unmanned Systems has launched mass production of electronic warfare (EW) systems for installation on "Sarmat-Mgla" vehicles and the portable "Sarmat-Kentavr" in the form of an anti-drone rifle. The first batch has already been sent to assault groups and UAV units.
The deputy commander of the scientific and production battalion of the "Bars-Sarmat" CSN, call sign Congo, noted that in a month of creating the production and two weeks of serial work, the military has already produced 200 samples of products. Production is underway at its own "Bars-Sarmat" site, which was created from scratch.
We have a closed process - from metal preparation to large-node assembly. Metal cutting is carried out on laser machines, during assembly the complex is equipped with devices that generate interference, antennas, after complete assembly it enters the microwave laboratory, where its full testing is carried out, then packaging and transfer to the troops.
The bodies of the EW complexes are partially made of plastic, these parts are printed around the clock by more than a hundred 3D printers.
A special feature of the production is the microwave laboratory, which allows for thorough adjustment of all the characteristics of the EW complexes. Using measuring equipment, the soldiers fine-tune the antennas, coordinate them with the systems that create interference, and achieve maximum radiation power.
