Flap track fairings are necessary for an aircraft to protect them from external factors. This was reported by the United Engine Corporation (UEC).
Without the fairings, the aircraft would lose some of its aerodynamic characteristics, which could negatively affect speed and increase fuel consumption.
The fairings are necessary to close the flap operating mechanism when the flaps are raised.
They open when the flaps are lowered and can also rotate to provide the necessary lateral movement of the extension mechanism, which occurs on swept-wing installations.
Earlier www1.ru reported that 200 aircraft will be built in Russia by 2030: there are guaranteed buyers with money.
