The Krasnaya Kuznitsa Shipyard (a branch of the Zvezdochka Ship Repair Center) will receive a new floating dock of project 28140S. This was reported by the press service of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC).
It is planned that the new floating structure of project 28140S will replace the oldest dock of the Arkhangelsk enterprise built in 1953.
Characteristics of the dock of project 28140S: lifting capacity — 5 thousand tons, 4 cranes, length — 158 m, width — 36.8 m, board height — 13.3 m.
Having received a new dock, the shipbuilders of Krasnaya Kuznitsa will be able to increase the number of dock repairs of ships and vessels.
