Cryogenmash Develops Helium CM 42 Container Project for Transporting Cooled Helium

The tank has vacuum-multilayer insulation with a nitrogen screen

Specialists from Cryogenmash have developed a project for the Helium CM 42 cryogenic container tank designed for temporary storage and transportation of cooled liquid helium. The Russian Maritime Register of Shipping has approved the technical documentation.

Helium CM 42 is a unique piece of equipment that ensures the transportation and storage of 4540 kg of cooled liquid helium at a temperature of -269°C and has vacuum-multilayer insulation with a nitrogen screen.

The container is equipped for the first time with an innovative CGV-1 telematics device. The equipment records data on the operation of the tank and transmits it to the server.
