Specialists of «Kriogenmash» company have developed a project of cryogenic container-tank Helium CM 42, intended for temporary storage and transportation of cooled liquid helium. The Russian Maritime Register of Shipping has approved the technical documentation.
Helium CM 42 is a unique equipment providing transportation and storage of 4540 kg of cooled liquid helium at a temperature of -269°C, and having vacuum-multilayer insulation with a nitrogen screen.
The container is equipped with an innovative telematics device CGV-1 for the first time. The equipment registers data on the operation of the tank and transmits it to the server.
