The State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) has allocated 2.6 billion rubles for the renewal of civil water transport in Russia. The funds were received from the National Welfare Fund (NWF).
LLC "Emperium" and JSC "Tsimlyansk Shipbuilding and Mechanical Plant" have received funding. Shipbuilders at these enterprises are building 6 electric passenger catamarans ("Ecocruiser" project) and 6 dredgers (project C490DM1).
The vessels of the first project will be ready in 2026, and the second in 2027.
Dredgers of project C490DM1 are equipped with a milling and hydraulic ripper. The main pump power is 746 kW, water capacity is 3 thousand cubic meters/hour, and soil capacity is 500 cubic meters/hour.
