Russian vehicle manufacturer KamAZ presented the KamAZ-4280-F5 Vega bus and the low-floor trolleybus KamAZ-62825 at an exhibition in Smolensk. This was reported by the company's press service.
KamAZ-4280-F5 Vega appeared on the market in 2024. The bus has a modern design.
The rear suspension is pneumatic, which allows the vehicle to be operated in various conditions. Among the advantages are modern safety systems, reliability, and the service life of the main components and assemblies.
The bus does not require high operating costs. In addition, Russia has the necessary component base and spare parts.
The KamAZ-4280-F5 Vega accommodates 65 passengers, with seating for 19 + 2 folding seats and a space for a disabled person.
Another new product from the manufacturer is the low-floor trolleybus KamAZ-62825.
Among its advantages are energy storage devices that allow it to autonomously cover distances of up to 30 km, which is important for servicing new urban areas where there is no contact network.
The trolleybus power plant is equipped with an asynchronous motor with a capacity of 150-180 kW. The basic configuration of the KamAZ-62825 includes brakes with an anti-lock system, LED headlights for low and high beams, and a passenger information system. The trolleybus is designed for 90 people, with a total of 34 seats and 2 folding seats.
