«Как всё сделать, мы понимаем»: российские учёные готовы создать особый скафандр для полёта на Марс даже по заказу США

The spacesuit should have a special heat exchanger to cool the astronaut and an evaporator

Russian scientists are ready to develop a spacesuit for a flight to Mars, if there is a corresponding order, including from the Americans. This was announced by Sergey Pozdnyakov, General Director of the Zvezda Research and Production Enterprise.

Mars has an atmosphere, unlike the Moon. This means there is some pressure. The spacesuit, at least, should have a different heat exchanger to cool the astronaut, an evaporator is needed. We understand how to do everything.
Sergey Pozdnyakov,  General Director of the Zvezda Research and Production Enterprise

He emphasized that when developing a spacesuit, it is necessary to take into account the tasks that the Martian expedition will face.

Just flying there and back is one thing. If you fly there and work there for some time, that's another. If you make some kind of base there, that's a third. Depending on this, we will proceed.
Sergey Pozdnyakov, General Director of the Zvezda Research and Production Enterprise

As he reported, employees of Zvezda had already begun developing such a spacesuit on their own initiative, but have not yet received orders for its production.

Earlier, Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, proposed a joint mission between Russia and the United States to Mars in 2029.

This proposal was a response to a post by Elon Musk, in which he announced plans to send a spacecraft with a humanoid robot Optimus to Mars at the end of 2026. If this flight is successful, Musk does not rule out the possibility of sending people to Mars as early as 2029.

In the next 50 years, Russia plans to carry out manned flights to Mars and explore deep space.
