Belarusian President Personally Oversees Production of Launchers for Missile Systems

Belarus is ready to put into service two launchers of the latest Russian medium-range ballistic missile system "Oreshnik" by the end of 2025, the launchers for which are produced in the republic. This was stated by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

I am now overseeing the production of these launchers. I think we are ready to put two launchers into service by the end of the year.
Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus

According to him, the issue of where exactly to place themissile system on Belarusian territory has not yet been resolved.

There is no need to rush here, we don't need to hurry now. There is no need to put "Oreshnik" somewhere near Orsha faster, tomorrow. If we need to, we will put it. If it is necessary. This is a serious weapon. You can't make it on your knee in six months or in one month.
Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus

The Belarusian leader noted that "Oreshnik" will soon enter service with the Belarusian army. He noted that the launching part for this missile is already being produced in Belarus.

Military expert Vladimir Gundarov noted that by the time it reaches its orbital altitude, the Oreshnik missile accelerates to Mach 11 and from there heads to its target in acasing of hot plasma - this is an additional natural protection for such warheads.
