Deputy General Director of the United Engine Corporation (UEC) Alexander Inozemtsev will successfully cope with the implementation of the project to create a new PD-35 engine. This opinion was expressed by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the Governor of the Perm Territory Dmitry Makhonin.

The development of the PD-35 project started in 2016 at the Rybinsk "Saturn" and Perm "Aviadvigatel", which are part of the UEC. The PD-35, which has an increased thrust of up to 35 tons (16 tons more than the PD-14), will become the most powerful Russian aircraft engine.
