The increase in prices for retro cars is due to their limited number and historical value. As an example, the GAZ-21 "Volga" of 1965 is cited, which was sold in Yekaterinburg last year for 4.5 million rubles.

There are almost no such cars left on the market, so they easily find buyers, especially when it comes to unique экземплярах with a history
Evgeny Zhitnukhin, Commercial Director of the FRESH automotive marketplace.

From the premium segment, the auto expert singled out models that have significantly increased in price over the past three years. For example, the Audi Q3 has increased in price from 2.4 to 3.6 million rubles, and the Lexus GX has risen in price by 46% - from 4.8 to 7 million rubles.

A similar situation is observed with the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 150, the price of which has increased by 45% and reached 5.4 million rubles. The reasons for the price increase were the departure of foreign brands from the market, the weakening of the ruble, the increase in logistics costs and the increase in duties, including the recycling fee.

The new generation of Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024 can now only be purchased through parallel imports at a price of 10 million rubles, which further heats up the used car market.
