If attackers have gained access to your account on the "Gosuslugi" portal, first of all, block the account. This was stated by Sergey Golovanov, chief expert of "Kaspersky Lab".
It is best not to disclose confidential data to anyone: passwords, confirmation codes. However, if this has already happened, and attackers have gained access to the account, the first thing to do is to block your account.
To do this, you can use the service's mobile application, the mobile application of the bank that has access to "Gosuslugi", contact the MFC technical support, or visit the MFC in person and ask the staff for help in blocking.
The expert advised after that to go to the MFC to find out what the attackers managed to do with your account.
Scammers often try to gain access to accounts on the "Gosuslugi" portal. To do this, they use various tricks, for example, they call and offer to replace meters or reissue keys from the intercom. At the same time, they ask to name a one-time code from SMS to confirm their actions.
Even a temporary loss of access to "Gosuslugi" can create serious problems. Attackers can obtain copies of your documents and use them for fraud.
Earlier, the State Duma proposed to strengthen protection when restoring access to the "Gosuslugi" portal.
