The minesweeper "Anatoly Shlemov" of project 12700, code "Alexandrite", worked out tasks to destroy sea and air targets in the waters of the Avacha Bay of the Pacific Ocean. This was reported in the press service of the Pacific Fleet (TOF).
At the sea range, the minesweeper worked out tasks to destroy high-speed surface targets simulating unmanned boats (BEC) of the enemy.
The crew of the warship also destroyed low-altitude aerial targets simulating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of a mock enemy.
In one of the areas of the sea range with pre-installed models of sea mines, the minesweeper crew found underwater objects using the onboard Diez sonar system and the Livadia-ME mine detection station. After that, the artillery crews successfully hit a floating mine with fire from the AK-306 artillery system and the Kord large-caliber machine gun at a distance of over 1 km.
The minesweeper "Anatoly Shlemov" is the seventh ship of project 12700 built. The ship was laid down on July 12, 2019, and launched on November 26, 2021. In the fall of 2022, "Anatoly Shlemov" passed factory sea trials and state tests and entered service with the Navy.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian Navy will receive four more frigates with Zircon and Kalibr missiles.
