Rosoboronexport is promoting the fifth-generation Su-75 Checkmate light tactical aircraft (LTS), including to countries in the Middle East, according to the company's CEO, Alexander Mikheev.
According to him, a number of Middle Eastern countries are striving for industrial independence and want to work, including in the format of technological partnership.
We are consulting with them on the appearance and technical characteristics of such a new generation aircraft, in the creation of which they would like to participate.
Mikheev added that the parties are discussing the possibility of joint development and integration of modern onboard systems, avionics and foreign-made weapons during the consultations.
The maximum combat load of the Su-75 is 7400 kg, the flight range without external fuel tanks is 2900 km at a speed of up to Mach 1.8, which is one of the best indicators in its class.
