The "Berezhok" combat modules available to customers can be modernized to a new coastal modification to protect against unmanned boats without significant costs. This was announced by a representative of the "High-Precision Systems" holding (part of Rostec).
According to him, customers are interested in the development. "Berezhok" is relevant because it is a ready-made solution based on the equipment already available to customers.
Equipment breaks down sooner or later, after which it requires modernization. And this is an inexpensive project that can turn a combat compartment into a stationary module for protecting coastal facilities.
The modified stationary "Berezhok" was first presented at the "Fleet-2024" exhibition. The armament of this combat compartment includes a 30-mm 2A42 automatic cannon, a 30-mm AG-30M automatic grenade launcher, a 7.62-mm PKTM machine gun, as well as two launchers of "Kornet" anti-tank guided missiles with two missiles each.
There are types of unmanned boats that are well protected, and they cannot always be disabled with a small caliber. And here, one projectile disables the target.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the latest nine-module electronic warfare system "Yel-1" with a total interference power of up to 1kW was developed in Russia.
