Footage of a Russian T-72B3M main battle tank with original turret rear protection has appeared online. It protects the combat vehicle from kamikaze drones.
It is a question of a "skeleton" made of a metal profile pipe welded to the tank's hull with a dense anti-drone mesh stretched over it. The turret is reliably covered by chains on the sides.
Earlier it became known that T-72B3M tanks will also receive active protection systems (APS) "Arena-M". The system will significantly increase the survivability of combat equipment on the modern battlefield.
The "Arena-M" includes a radar station (RLS) with high noise immunity, special ammunition in the mines around the perimeter of the tank turret and an onboard computer.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the "Vobla" super-drone was assembled for the Russian military from four UAVs.
