The MLRS incorporates the best developments of systems in its class. The launcher is dual-caliber; depending on the tasks, it can use 220-mm and 300-mm ammunition stored in transport and launch containers, which greatly facilitates their reloading, operation, and combat use.

The BAZ-69092 chassis with a 6x6 wheel arrangement is designed for mounting weapons and military equipment weighing up to 13-14 tons, transporting them on all types of roads and terrain, and ensuring combat use.

The ammunition load of the 220-mm module can be represented by standard 9M27F rockets with a range of 35 km. The 300-mm module can be represented by both standard 9M55F guided rockets with a range of 70 km and 9M544 rockets with a range of up to 130 km.
