AGR Automotive Group (AGR LLC) has officially announced its plans to create cars under the new brand Tenet. The brief announcement is accompanied by a teaser image, but there are no details about the car at the moment.
The picture shows a raised canopy, behind which the front of the first Tenet model is partially visible. It looks like it is based on the Chery Tiggo 7 crossover.
The AGR Group of Companies (AGR Automotive Group) presents a new Russian car brand TENET. Coming soon to the roads of the country...
Earlier it became known that Chery plans to release a new Tiggo 7L in Russia, which will be sold together with the current model, presented in the summer of 2024. It is possible that this new car will be given to the AGR Group for production under the Tenet brand.
In this case, the Tenet will be equipped with a 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 150 hp and a 7-speed robot. The drive can be either front or all-wheel drive. It is expected that the price of Tenet will be lower than the original model.
Thus, there will be three versions of Tiggo 7 in Russia: the original Tiggo 7 Pro Max, the restyled Xcite X-Cross 7, and the new model from Tenet.
The Russian automaker AGR has factories in Kaluga (where Chery is currently assembled) and St. Petersburg (where Solaris is produced).
At the end of last year, the AGR holding, which owns the former Hyundai and Volkswagen automobile enterprises, received a patent for the Novo trademark. A logo for this brand has already been created and also registered.
