Росатом ожидает возврата замороженных в банке JPMorgan средств на строительство АЭС «Аккую»

US Department of Justice Delayed Money for Akkuyu NPP

The Rosatom State Corporation expects the return of funds for the Akkuyu NPP, temporarily blocked due to external pressure, the company's press service said.

According to Rosatom, all funds previously transferred to Turkey were directed exclusively to the construction of the station, payments to contractors, and social obligations. The corporation expressed confidence in the speedy resolution of the situation with the frozen assets, which are also planned to be used to complete the facility.

As for the amount unfairly delayed under the influence of third parties, we hope for a resolution of this situation, after which the funds will also be directed exclusively to the implementation of the project, the continuation of construction, and the fulfillment of all mandatory payments.
