A Russian T-80BVM tank withstood a hit from an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) during combat operations. This was reported by Valery, the combat vehicle operator.
An ATGM flew at us, towards the tank commander. The tank shook a little, but it withstood it.
The serviceman clarified that when performing tasks, the tank commander gives commands, and the gunner fires. For the operator, the main thing in this work is not to get confused and aim at the target in time.
T-80BVM is a further modernization of the T-80BV tank. The vehicle is equipped with a Sosna-U multi-channel gunner's sight, a more advanced 125-millimeter 2A46M-4 gun, a modified gas turbine engine, and Relikt dynamic protection.
