The Salut Moscow enterprise has created a production line for electron-beam welding of housings and rotor aviation parts, consisting entirely of domestic equipment. This was reported by the press service of the United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of Rostec Group).
With the help of the equipment, specialists can quickly and efficiently join parts made of refractory metals in a vacuum. Russian equipment allows processing up to six parts in one operation.
Large-scale equipment modernization is aimed at increasing the production capacity of the Moscow enterprise.
