AvtoVAZ has released the first production cars Lada Vesta with a new 6-speed manual transmission (MT), installed in tandem with a 122-horsepower 1.8 Evo engine.
The new transmission will improve driving comfort and efficiency, as well as the environmental friendliness of the car.
The "mechanics" are produced by a friendly supplier, the gearbox has a high margin of safety. It is designed to transmit torque up to 220 Nm, which with a margin "overlaps" the traction characteristics of the engine.
Also, the new transmission provides increased driving comfort. The progressive technology of manufacturing shafts and gears contributes to low noise and vibration during operation.
The gear ratios in the 6MT are selected so that the car moves confidently and economically, accelerates dynamically and elastically.
