The very first Lada Iskra, which was presented to the public, had a difficult journey. The management of AvtoVAZ did not like the car in black, so it had to be redone, said the owner of the Avtograd public page, who lives in Togliatti and works at the enterprise.

The presentation car Lada Iskra, presented at the SPIEF in 2024, had a thorny path. Initially, it was a black sedan assembled in the NTZ VAZ building. Since all the interior plastic was technological, it was removed and sent to a private workshop for refinement, after embossing, the interior was reassembled.

The car was sent to Moscow for one event, but the management of AvtoVAZ did not like this model, the insider noted. The car was returned to Togliatti, where it was completely disassembled and the body was painted with red enamel in the scientific and technical center: "they say, if it's "Iskra", it must be red." The car was reassembled, and in this form it appeared at the SPIEF.

There is a whole department at the plant for preparing presentation cars, the author of the publication specified. It employs about 15 people who are engaged in refining exhibition cars, as well as restoring exhibits from the AvtoVAZ museum.

Earlier www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ is rapidly increasing the production of cars of the new Lada Iskra family. Several cars roll off the assembly line every day. Mass production and sales of Lada Iskra will start in the first half of 2025 year.
