AvtoVAZ presented the updated Lada Iskra car. This was reported by the insider Telegram channel No Limits.
The authors of the channel noted that the old Iskra was shown at the SPIEF forum in 2024, and that the car is almost ready for mass production.
The updated Lada Iskra has differences in the engine and interior. In particular, the car shown today has an engine already from AvtoVAZ, and not from Renault.
Consider that the car, in the way it should be available to buyers next year, was shown right now.
Mass production and sales of Lada Iskra will start in the first half of 2025. Earlier it became known that the base engine for the new Lada Iskra model will be a 90-horsepower 1.6-liter unit paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.
There is also a version with a 1.6-liter engine with a capacity of 106 horsepower with a six-speed manual gearbox or automatic transmission.
