В России выделят почти 30 миллиардов рублей на строительство рыболовецкого флота

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has approved support measures for the development of the fishing industry

In 2025, Russian authorities will allocate 28.5 billion rubles to support the construction of the fishing fleet. This was reported by the press service of the All-Russian Association of Fishermen (VARPE), citing a letter from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation on measures to develop the fishing industry in the context of the financial crisis.

The association explained that 21.5 billion rubles will be allocated to shipyards in 2024–2027 to cover the shortage of funds for the construction of 20 fishing vessels. Another up to 6.4 billion rubles will be allocated from the government's reserve fund in 2024-2026 to the winners of crab auctions to reimburse the costs of building crab catchers in the Far East.

From 2024 to 2027, the authorities will allocate almost 8 billion rubles for a recycling grant, which also applies to the fishing fleet. In 2025 — 1.99 billion rubles, in 2026 — 2 billion rubles, in 2027 — 2.49 billion rubles.

In 2025, the following support measures are planned:

  • businesses will receive funds to cover part of the costs of building civil water transport vessels (including fishing vessels)
  • Far Eastern shipyards will be reimbursed for part of the costs of building civil vessels
  • all shipbuilding shipyards in Russia will be refunded part of the funds for paying interest on loans for the modernization of production facilities
