В Ростове разработали платформу для оперативной диагностики заболеваний

The platform will feature 4 virtual assistants

A multimodal web platform for rapid disease detection and improved diagnostics has been developed at the Don State Technical University (DSTU). This was reported by the university's press service.

In the field of medicine and veterinary medicine, the project will improve the quality and reduce the time for diagnosing diseases, including at early stages, and will also reduce the time and labor costs for conducting analyses by up to 99% (digitization of preparations and reagents, cell marking using AI, digital selection of images by metadata, diagnostic accuracy). In addition, the multimodal web platform will allow for interdisciplinary training of a new generation of personnel (IT plus medicine and veterinary medicine), improve the quality and reduce the time for confirming scientific hypotheses.

Four virtual assistants will operate on the platform. They are capable of detecting, segmenting, and classifying objects in images of biological samples and creating textual descriptions. The subscription cost for the service is expected to be around 70 thousand rubles.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Sber created the GigaDoc medical AI assistant.
