Servicemen of anti-terror units repelled an attack by an illegal armed group on checkpoints (CPPs) of military units and formations of the Baltic Fleet. This was reported in the press service of the fleet.
Anti-terrorist exercises were held in military units in the Kaliningrad and Leningrad regions.
According to the scenario, the "terrorists" attacked the checkpoint in order to penetrate the territory of the military unit and seize the object. The servicemen who entered the battle eliminated the threat.
Also, live firing from small arms took place at one of the training grounds of the Baltic Fleet. More than 400 people were involved in the maneuvers, and about 30 units of military and special equipment were involved.
