Российские ученые создали прорывную технологию производства бетона: теперь на 40% экономнее

The technology is complemented by the ability to predict the mechanical properties of concrete based on artificial intelligence

Specialists from the Don State Technical University have developed a combined experimental setup for producing variatropic concrete elements. This will save up to 15% of steel and 40% of concrete.

Variatropy experiments have confirmed the high quality of the new building materials. This refers to the characteristics of the material in its annular cross-section in terms of strength, density, and deformability.

The implementation of the project, compared to traditional technologies, will allow reinforced concrete manufacturers to save up to 40% of concrete. Savings in reinforcing steel can reach up to 15% per unit of production.

The technology has been supplemented with the ability to predict the mechanical properties of concrete using artificial intelligence. Production processes will be simplified by approximately 12% due to the introduction of AI.

Automation of the production process will reduce costs by up to 12%. Overall, construction companies will be able to reduce construction time and simplify installation resources by up to 20%.
