The "Nobel Brothers Shipyard" (part of the "Kalashnikov" concern) is completing the second hull block of the icebreaking tug "Narvskaya Zastava" of project 3262. According to the shipbuilders, two side sections and a deck have been fully assembled, and the bottom section is in the final stage of assembly. Metal cutting is also actively underway for the third of eight blocks.
The icebreaking tug "Narvskaya Zastava" of project 3262, class "КМ Аrc4 [1] R3- RSN AUT2 Tug", was laid down at "Nobel Brothers Shipyard" LLC on July 4, 2024. The contract for the construction of the tug with the Committee for Nature Use, Environmental Protection and Ensuring Environmental Safety of St. Petersburg was signed in December 2023. According to it, the vessel must be completed by the end of 2026.
Technical characteristics of the icebreaking tug "Narvskaya Zastava" of project 3262:

The icebreaking tug will be able to:
- carry out icebreaking operations in coastal marine areas and inland waterways, including combating congestion on the Neva;
- destroy and eliminate ice formations near water intakes from the Neva for urban needs;
- lay channels for ice convoying of ships;
- participate in emergency rescue operations and oil spill response, including in winter;
- extinguish fires, including fires on ships.
It is known that for oil spill response operations, the tug has places for special containers. And in order for the vessel to pass along the Neva under numerous bridges, it will have a lifting and lowering wheelhouse, folding masts and antennas.
