The universal seagoing self-propelled floating crane SPK-61150 (Project 02690) has joined the auxiliary fleet of the Russian Navy. The flag-raising ceremony on the vessel took place in the city of Baltiysk in the Kaliningrad Region.
The press service of the Baltic Fleet stated that the Deputy Commander of the Fleet for Logistics, Andrei Popov, presented the flag to the captain of the floating crane. The crew of the SPK-61150 includes specialists with experience working on auxiliary vessels of the fleet.
The seagoing self-propelled floating crane SPK-61150 is designed for:
- performing lifting operations
- loading cargo onto surface ships and submarines
- the crane's lifting capacity is 150 tons
- the crane can withstand sea state 3
- the vessel's endurance is 10 days
