AN Marine Consulting has announced its readiness to start producing its N24 project catamaran in Russia. This vessel could become another player in the Russian tourist transportation market.
N24 is a 24-meter party catamaran for 100+ passengers. Composite hull, electric or diesel propulsion. Are such vessels possible in Russia? We are confident that they are possible. There is a ready-made project, patented in the Russian Federation, we are ready to register it.
Previously, the developers of the N20/24 catamaran project participated with it in the prestigious international industrial design competition The Muse Design Awards in 2021 and received "gold."
The N24 project vessel is a lightweight catamaran with solar panels and an open bridge, designed for прогулок and transporting tourists. Its hull is designed from composites based on multiaxial fabrics and three-layer structures, which makes the catamaran lighter and more energy-efficient due to the possibility of installing more solar panels. In addition, this catamaran has a shallow draft, which helps it approach even an unequipped shore.
Characteristics of the N24 project vessel:
- maximum length — 23.90m (in the N20 project version, it is presented in a shortened form and is 20m);
- width — 10m;
- full displacement — 40 tons;
- speed — up to 11 knots;
- crew — 3 people;
- passengers — up to 100 people.
On board, passengers are provided with comfortable seats, a bar, места для купания и фотографирования, and shower rooms. Also, the N24 project catamaran has a bow ramp for disembarking on the beach.
