A separate section dedicated to charitable assistance may appear on the "Gosuslugi" portal. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, Maksut Shadayev.
He noted that the portal's infrastructure can be used to organize fundraising, volunteering and other types of assistance. The details of the implementation of this section are currently being discussed, which will be aimed at supporting citizens through assistance from foundations and interaction between people.
Shadayev emphasized that the audience of the "Gosuslugi" portal has more than 115 million people. 10 million users visit the site daily. One of the key advantages of the portal is the reliable identification of citizens, which creates a high level of trust in its infrastructure.
The Minister added that the IT industry is ready to cooperate with charitable organizations, and the Ministry of Digital Development intends to expand the portal's capabilities to support social initiatives.
Shadayev recalled the example of the collaboration between "Gosuslugi" and marketplaces, when targeted assistance was provided to the affected residents of the Kursk region in August-September of this year. As part of this initiative, marketplaces sent promo codes to the victims to receive essential goods at a discount via SMS.
