Two Soviet-made An-2 aircraft, formerly owned by the airline "Grodno", have been put up for electronic auction in Belarus. The sale information was published by the auction organizer — RUP "Institute of Real Estate and Valuation".
Both An-2s are legendary "corncobs" that have been used for decades in small aviation and agriculture.
Now the aircraft have a chance to start a new life — if there is a buyer with an airfield or at least a large hangar. The auction is scheduled for January 29, 2026.
Lot No. 1 — An-2 EW-84727 glider, manufactured in 1983. The biplane is equipped with an ASH-62IR engine and an AV-2 propeller. The starting price is 1.495 million rubles.
Lot No. 2 — An-2 EW-07428 glider, but slightly older, manufactured in 1973. It is also equipped with an ASH-62IR engine and an AV-2 propeller. The initial price is 1.238 million rubles.
