Russian authorities plan to quickly establish mass production of modern aircraft and helicopters. This was stated by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at the "Transport of Russia" forum.
It is important to deploy mass production of all types of aircraft as soon as possible, including completely updated "Superjets", as well as Tu-214, Il-96, Il-114 and "Baikal" for local airlines. Similar plans are in place for helicopters.
According to Mikhail Mishustin, all the necessary funds to support the aircraft industry have already been identified and included in a separate federal project. He also stressed the need to prepare airports and specialized educational institutions for the development of advanced technology.
