Кадровое бессилие: в России становится популярной no-code-разработка

Software created without code or with the help of AI costs customers less than the work of an IT specialist with code, but there is a nuance

In Russia, the demand for platforms with ready-made tools for creating IT projects that do not require coding skills is growing. "No-code" development specialists, who use templates to create applications, websites, or automated business processes instead of new code, and specialists involved in minimal code (low-code) are increasingly being involved in creating domestic solutions and new software.

According to Kommersant, citing data from Smart Ranking and Nocodecircle, demand for this service increased by 40% in 2024, and by the end of the year the market volume may reach 3.5 billion rubles. The AI market for software development is also growing in parallel: about 20% of IT companies have already begun to use artificial intelligence in software development instead of the labor of novice IT specialists. However, experts believe that the use of platforms and neural networks that simplify work carries the risk of security of the finished product.

Earlier, the Ministry of Digital Development announced that it plans to create its own Linux community for developers from countries willing to cooperate with Russia. The decision was made after Russian Linux kernel developers were deprived of leadership status due to sanctions.
