The Kaluga plant "PSMA Rus" has been officially and finally renamed to "Automotive Technologies". This was reported by the Telegram channel "Russian Automobile".
Opel and Mitsubishi logos were removed from the steles. At the same time, PSMA Rus LLC itself continues to function.
Earlier it became known that "Automotive Technologies" plans to expand production and start assembling cars from China. The brand name was not officially disclosed. Later, the editor-in-chief of the magazine "Behind the Wheel" Maxim Kadakov reported that the production of "Russified" Haval M6 cars is planned.
Recently, the demand for Chinese cars in Russia has increased. In October 2024, 98,156 new cars were sold in the country, and Haval became the most popular brand.
